Prachtige fantasy, een opmars naar meer!
Ik moest even inkomen aan het begin, maar ik ben zo blij dat ik doorgegaan ben met lezen!
Het verhaal van Elara is intrigerend, spannend en emotioneel. Een echte aanrader! Als je van fantasy houdt, die rustig opbouwt, maar telkens weet te verrassen, dan is dit jouw boek. Ik kan nu al niet wachten tot het volgende deel in deze serie!

This is a great fantasy novel by a debut author. Elara lives with her Gran and her dog Momo. The world building is great as it slowly builds. There is a little bit of Spice too. The ending will get you and will make you want to read book 2. If you like a slow build, magic, political intrigue, romantasy and n ending that takes the FMC down a new path, read this book.

This book was absolutely fire! I loved it from the beginning to the end. It has elemental magic, a little Shadow and Bone kind of feel going into it. There's different types of romance that's going on. There's betrayal. The magic system that is set up in this book is great.

GUYSSSS THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD!!! I loved the magic I LOVEDDDD Elara she’s actually so relatable, I absolutely adored the pacing, just under half the book took place in Eden really us getting to know the characters.
If you like political fantasy’s involving military power and the introduction of a resistance this is defo the book for you!

Book 2 continues with Elara aiding the resistance to overthrow the Leader Suprema. The suspense builds as she has to go undercover. I loved her competency of using water to protect and to destroy. There are some real creepy people and she has to do things she does not like to complete her mission. The ending was crazy. I can’t give spoilers but I was screaming inside my head as things don’t go smoothly. I am not surprised what Elara decides to do on the last page. Yep, there’s a hook for the next book. I hope there is a next book. The story would have been perfect if she could give Momo a big hug and scratch behind the ears. She needed a hug.

This book held my attention the whole time, and left me wanting more (even wanting to go back and read the first book)! The characters tugged at my heart strings. I felt immersed throughout the entire story! I loved the fact that healing and crystals was involved; it drew me in and made the storyline more believable. I honestly couldn’t put it down, and stayed up later than usual just to get all the chapters in so I could see how the heist ended. Make sure to add this to your TBR!
