It's me.

Hi.

I'm the author, it's me!

I was born in Zaandam, the Netherlands in 1990. But I traveled the world and lived in Malaysia, Oman and Portugal. 

In Oman, I went to the British School, Muscat where I was taught British English and fell in love with English books such as Harry Potter. In school, we got the opportunity to write short stories and poems which fueled my love for storytelling. Fantasy is my first love, but I enjoy reading anything.

My first serious story was a story about a girl that would become a water bender. Very 'Avatar the Last Airbender' -inspired! And later that theme would carry on in my published work. Soon after, I would watch the Full Metal Alchemist and that left a lasting impression.

I studied Physiotherapy, and met my husband during that period, with whom I moved to Utrecht and later to Amersfoort and now Lagos, Portugal. During that time I devoured more fantasy, but this time in the form of games. The Witcher 3 was the first game my husband and I bonded over.

In 2023 I finally had time to hunker down and write in earnest. Resulting in my debut fantasy book; Whispers of Water, book one.

Getting lost in worlds, and adventures, and meeting the most interesting people is my number one hobby.

And I'm so glad that I can use writing to make all my fantasies come to life!
